DP3 Pipelay – Construction – Accommodation – Hook Up
Built according to a distinctive hybrid design philosophy, the Telford 30 is a multipurpose DP3 vessel suitable for rigidcpipelay, offshore construction and accommodation and hook up activities. The Telford 30 vessel has a large unobstructed main deck, a 270mt crane and large-scale accommodation capacity. The T30 has been utilized on major projects offshore West Africa delivering accommodation services with platform supply capability to support construction and operations in Block 15 on Kizomba A, offshore Angola, and Chevron to serve the Agbami FPSO, offshore Nigeria, where her accommodation capacity was increased with a Portable Accommodation Block (PAB) installed on the main deck. As a pipelay vessel she was awarded* by NPDC, a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the installation and commissioning of a new 16” x 13.5 km pipeline in OML 119, offshore Nigeria. The pipeline was designed to allow for both routine and intelligent pigging, with a pig launcher on Okpoho platform and the pig receiver on FPSO Mystras at the Okono field.
