At a time of refurbishment of this 3rd generation semi-sub drilling rig, Telford 31 connected in shallow waters to host the personnel working onboard the rig.

In 2013, Telford 31 (ex Jascon 31) was awarded a contract from Global Santa Fe International Drilling Inc. / Transocean to provide accommodation for personnel working on the refurbishment of the semi- submersible drilling rig GSF Rig 135, offshore Congo.
